I am most passionate about creating space for people to be authentic. It is very empowering to be able to be authentically “you” in any situation, and it is equally empowering to be around people who are being authentic.
I was cast as one of the Seven Dwarves in a summer theater production of Snow White Goes West. That set me down the path to moving to NY, meeting my wife, and starting work with my friends who would become Collective Next. If I hadn’t been a bad singing and dancing Dwarf Gold Miner, I wouldn’t be where I am now.
I once dressed up like a gold man for the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996. I ran in slow motion through a crowd of 2000 people with a spotlight on me. The job ended with me being a “live statue” on a stage in a reception for those 2000 people, when someone tried to see if I was real by doing a “touch test.”
