Teaching people who are afraid in water to swim.
Almost every movie makes me cry. In this case it was the new Cinderella movie, directed by Kenneth Branagh. The scene where Cinderella’s mother dies is intense. Aside from a few sniffles, you could hear a pin drop afterwards. Then my four year-old shouts into the theater, “What happened to the mother?” and about 12 kids yell back, “She’s dead!”
Festival Management. Twelve undergrad students spend a semester producing the New Jersey Folk Festival, which about 15,000 people attend. It’s where I got my first taste of the magic of collaborating to create an experience, and the adrenaline rush that goes along with it.
