Here’s a quick look at the best of the stories we’ve been sharing the past few days…

John Colaruotolo, our colleague in Dallas, recommends last week’s installment of NPR’s TED Radio Hour. Says he: “It was a bunch of pieces about storytelling. Of note were three speakers, and what they had to say about the topic. This podcast is worth adding to your ‘read’ (or listen) list for next week!” It is a terrific episode, looking at best practices in storytelling from many different angles. You can find it here.

Getting tired of being told that you need a better razor? Gillette’s New Razor Is Everything That’s Wrong With American Innovation, from New York magazine, is an entertaining and slightly maddening tale of what happens when innovation is divorced from what people actually need in a product.

And, speaking of innovation, have you ever wondered what The Karate Kid can teach you about innovation? Wonder no more.
